The role of the administrator can vary depending on the specialty worked in.

Duties may involve some of the following:

• Overall management of the office/clinic                                        
• Scheduling appointments and telephone triage
• Accurate and up to date patient records
• Hands on patient interaction and patient flow
• Accounting and claims submission
